Dave Wolcott – Finished September 10th, 2023
I could not get enough of this book. Dave Wolcott lays his approach to building wealth, and as the title suggests, it’s truly holistic. He talks about incorporating infinite banking, owning your own business, investing, and being thoughtful about tax to build the life you want. I thought not only the technical details, but also the mindset was inspiring. He encourages you to not limit yourself and your dreams, but to take the steps toward the life and wealth you want. Highly recommend this read.
Two and Twenty: How the Masters of Private Equity Always Win
Sachin Khajuria – Finished September 4th, 2023
Sachin Khajuria is a former partner of Apollo, one of the largest private equity firms in the world. He opened the doors to an industry that is often talked about, but little is known about the inner workings. It was fascinating to learn how they think in private equity, and the importance of planning. They often had plan A, B, C and more, and didn’t jump into any investment lightly. Definitely an interesting read if you’re curious about private equity or finance in general.
Christopher Paolini – Finished September 30th, 2023
This book is an obligatory shout-out for me. This book series is one of my absolute favourites and holds a lot of nastolgia for me. This series reminds me of the fun of reading again, and I read them every few years. It’s a great story of a poor boy who gets intertwined in a battle that’s bigger than he could ever imagine. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend this read.
Here is the remaining books I read in September 2023:
- Such Good Boys: The True Story of a Mother, Two Sons and a Horrifying Murder – Tina Dirmann
- 10x is Easier Than 2x: How World-Class Entrepreneurs Achieve More by Doing Less – Dan Sullivan
- Being Wrong: Adventures in the Margin of Error – Kathryn Schulz
- Alone: Lost Overboard in the Indian Ocean – Brett Archibald

Wondering how I read so much? My biggest recommendation buy a kindle. Having a kindle means I can always have my books with me, and the kindle daily deals mean I can get great books for only a few dollars. It removes barriers to reading and helps me read so much more.
