$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No
Alex Hormozi – Finished June 26th, 2023
I am personally a big fan of Alex Hormozi’s books and videos. I find him very encouraging and he makes high levels of success feel attainable, and this book was no exception. He explains how to create irresistable offers, and continue to grow. I think my biggest takeaway from this books was about how rather than try and compete on price (which you’ll never win), compete by offering more. Create offers that include add-ons that will make it irresistable.
David Epstein – Finished June 25th, 2023
I had previously read and liked David Epsteins book The Sports Gene, so I figured this would be no different. The premise of the book is that we glorify the focused success – the person who specialized young and reached the upper echelon of their craft. He argues that there is huge advantage to taking the opposite route, touting numerous successful people who explored a wide breadth of interests before making a major impact in one. My biggest takeaway from this book was that pursuing a wide range of interests will not hinder my success, but rather open my mind to connections that I otherwise would not have though of.
The Boy Crisis: Why Our Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It
Warren Farrell – Finished June 4th, 2023
This book addressed a lot of men’s issues, including suicide, neglecting family for career, and lack of purpose. I was impressed with the authors ability to acknowledge issues and challenges faced by men, while simultaneously never discounting any issues faces by women. My biggest takeaway from this book was that the best way to raise better men, is to be a better man. It inspires me to be kind, compassionate, and supportive of those around me.

Wondering how I read so much? My biggest recommendation buy a kindle. Having a kindle means I can always have my books with me, and the kindle daily deals mean I can get great books for only a few dollars. It removes barriers to reading and helps me read so much more.
